This is the earliest picture that I have of me. There is no date on it so I would guess that I was five or six months old. Even at this young age I have big ears. I remember my mother telling me that “I would grow into them.” I never did. I still have big ears. You know what they say about big ears – “big ears mean big…,” no? I guess that only works with feet and thumbs. Anyway, since this is my first post I thought I would start at the beginning, or as close to it as possible. Don’t worry, I’m not going to bore you with a lot of background information (at this time).
I am new to blogging, and exceptionally new to designing a website. This is going to be a learn-as-you-go operation. Mistakes will be made, false starts will happen, changes are inevitable, and there may even be tears. But if you will be patient with me I will get better.So, what do I hope to accomplish on this blog? I would like it to be a living journal, a place where I can post my observations, my thoughts, my feelings, and hopefully get some feedback on it. I am open to your thoughts on subjects under discussion. I welcome constructive criticism, as well as praise (when it is due).
Some of the subjects I most likely will be talking about are;
- Politics – I’m a registered Democrat
- Sex – I practice the gay kind
- Relationships – I’m single
- Religion – I’m a Jew
- Podcasts – I listen to a lot of them
- Other Blogs – I read a few
- Music – Most kinds
- TV – I have a few favorite programs
And many other unnamed subjects. So, that’s about it for this post. Not as auspicious as I had hoped for, but it is what it is. I hope to post at least three times a week, more often if there is a need.
