With autumn fully upon us now I was thinking how quickly summer passed and just how much I miss it. To help me reflect on some of the more enjoyable aspects of the warmer season I found this delectable picture stashed among my files. And I have to say that he is what summer is all about; sun, skin, abs, and ass. Whoa!

Today at their Notebook Media event Apple announced their new 15″ MacBook Pro. Some of the new advancements are improved graphics, performance and glass Multi-Touch trackpads. New to the Pro is the NVIDIA family of graphic processors. There is a choice between the GeForce 9400M which promises better battery life, and the GeForce 9600M GT which is all about performance. It has been reported that there has been some failings with the NVIDIAs, but Apple has promised to replace any faulty components. Of course all this new technology doesn’t come cheap. For the 15″ basic MacBook Pro you will have to come up with $1999. For the faster and, in my opinion, must have computer, it will set you back a whopping $2499. Ouch! Just incase you might have forgotten, my birthday is coming up next month and I wouldn’t say no to a new MacBook Pro.

I can’t believe that it’s been almost one month since I’ve posted anything. And the sad part is that I don’t even have a good, or a very interesting excuse. Life just got in he way. I wish I could tell you that I meet someone and I’ve fallen in love and all my time is being spent in his muscular arms, but, alas, I didn’t. I’d like to be able to tell you that I’ve been on an extended vacation in some exotic location where the sun, the sand, and the men were all warm and accommodating, but I wasn’t. I’d like to be able to tell you that I won the lottery and I’ve been too busy spending my winnings, but I didn’t. I’d like to tell you a lot of things, I should have told you a lot of things, but I didn’t. Because like you, I’ve been busy with life. Just trying to keep my head above the water, which with these disturbing political and economic times is becoming quite a feat. Some days I’m fine, but on other days…
I’ll make an effort to post more. I’ve missed this.
